RESOLUTION NO. 75-7
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Southlake, Texas,
on the 5th day of April, 1975, an -:election for Mayor and
City Councilmen in Places 1, and 2; And,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election 128 votes as
shown in the official election returns heretofore law-
fully submitted to the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas, and filed with the City Secretary of
of said City; And,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors of said
City Voted at said election, and said election was called
and held in strict conformity with the laws of the State
of Texas; And,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly canvassed
by the City Council of the City of Southlake on the 7th
day of.April, 1975, and showed the following results:
Mayor: Wade Booker . . . . . 120 votes
Sam Davis . . . . . . 2 votes
Ralph Polson . . . . 1 vote
Place 1: William 0. Nunn . . . 125 votes
Place 2: Alfred R. Pinson 20 votes
Ben H. Berry 107 votes
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all
things approved.
2. Wade Booker be and is hereby declared to have been
elected to the office of Mayor, to serve until April,
1977; William 0. Nunn be and is hereby declared to have
been elected to the office of Councilman, Place 1, to
serve until April, 1977; and, Ben H. Berry be and is
i-hereby declared to have been elected to the office of
Councilman, Place 2, to serve until April, 1977.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of April, 1975.
