RESOLUTION NO. 74-10
WHEREAS, there was held in the City of Southlake,
Texas, on the 6th day of April, 1974, an election
for City Councilmen in Places 3, 4 and 5; And,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election 199 votes
as shown in the official electionreturns hereto-
fore lawfully submitted to the City Council of
the City of Southlake, Texas, and filed with the
City Secretary of said City; And,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident electors
of said City voted at said election, and said
election was called and held in strict conformity
with the laws of the State of Texas; And,
WHEREAS, the results of said election were duly
canvassed by the City Council of the City of
Southlake on the 8th day of April, 1974, and
showed the following results:
Place 3: Sam Davis. . . . . 166 votes
Frank Tetrault . . 1 vote
Gordon Nettleihon . 1 vote
Mike Tate. . . . . 1 vote
Place 4: James H. Winfrey . 161 votes
L. A. Casey. . . . 2 votes
Pat O'Brien. 1 vote
Gayle Baird. . . . 1 vote
Elanor Kasper. . . 1 vote
Place 5: Billy Joe Knox . . 122 votes
George A. Tavenner 70 votes
Frank Tetrowe. . . 1 vote

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all things approved.
2.
Sam Davis be and is hereby declared to have been elected to the
office of Councilman, Place 3, to serve until April, 1976; James
H. Winfrey be and is hereby declared to have been elected to the
office of Councilman, Place 4, to serve until April, 1976; and,
Billy Joe Knox be and is hereby declared to have been elected to
he office,of Councilman, Place 5, to serve until April, 1976.
