RESOLWWION NO. 73-11
WHEREAS, a municipal court having been
created in the City of Southlake, Texas,
under City Ordinance No. 107 in compli-
ance with Article 1197a of Vernon's
Annotated Civil Statutes; And
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides for the
appointment of a judge for said court
and his term of office; And
WHEREAS, said Ordinance designates the
City Secretary as ex -officio clerk of
the court and further authorizes the
City Secretary as ex -officio clerk of
the court to appoint a deputy to act
as clerk of the court; Now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1.
Dave Austin is hereby appointed Judge of the Municipal Court in
the City of Southlake, Texas, holding such office for a term of
two years, running concurrently with the term of the Mayor.
2.
Aliceanne Wallace, as City Secretary and ex -officio clerk of
the court, is hereby authorized to appoint Betty Rhodes as
deputy performing_all the duties of the clerk of the court
as by law provided.
