0161-053AORDINANCE 161-53-A AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SO(MMAKE, TEXAS BY ADDING SENTENCE TO SECTION VII. PARAGRAPH 4(b) PR HIBITING SALE WITHIN 300 FEET OF CERTAIN STRUCTURES WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning ordinance by the Planning and Zoning Commission fran the City Council, and after due notice of public hearings published, and public hearings having been conducted, all in compliance with ordinance 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas, and the applicable laws of the State of Texas; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS: I. Ordiance No, 161 passed by the said City Council on January 7, 1969 is hereby amended insofar as Section VII. Paragraph 4(_b), Supplementary District Regulations Alcolohic Beverages "SP" Specific Use Permit is concerned by adding the following sentence: " The sale of alcoholic beverages by a dealer whose place of business is within 300 feet of any Church, public school or public hospital is hereby absolutely prohibited. The measurement of the distance shall be along the property lines of the street fronts and from front door to front door, and in direct line across intersections. No use permit shall ever be issued for any dealer whose business is within the aforesaid 300 feet location so measured." II. The said Ordinance 161, except as amended by this Ordinance 161-53-A, and all prior amendments, remains in effect in all respects as originally passed.
