AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
161 OF THE CITY OF SOU THLAKE BY
AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF ONE-HALF ACRE OF LAND, MORE OR
LESS, OUT OF THE A. H. CHIVERS SUR-
VEY, ABSTRACT NO. 299, FROM "AG"
AGRICULTURE DISTRICT TO "F" LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of
zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of
public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and
public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance
with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the
City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7,
1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is
hereby amended insofar as the one-half acre of land, more
or less, owned by Dr. John Clariday, Dr. William W. Taylor,
Carey G. Lavender and Robert L. Taylor, out of the A. H.
Chivers Survey, Abstract No. 299, Tarrant County, Texas,
bounded on the South by County Road No. 3034 (Hood-Throop
Road) and State Highway 114 on the North, and more parti-
cularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin in the North line
of Hood-Throop Road (County Road 3034) said
point being South 890 56' East 231.2 feet
and North 00 31' West 20 feet from the South-
west corner of said Survey, said point also
being the Southeast corner of a 1.81 acre
tract conveyed to Thomas Palmer by M. E.
Sutton by deed recorded in Vol. 3845, Page
87, D.R.T.C.T.a
THENCE North 0 31' West 192.7 feet to an
iron pin in the Southwesterly R.O.W. line
of State Highway 114;
THENCE Southeasterly along said R.O.W. line
being on a curve to the right having a radius
of 7529.44 feet through an angle of 010 54'

a distance of 250.5 feet to a T.H.D.
concrete monument;
THENCE South 200 07' West 47.9 feet
to an iron pin in the North line of
Hood-Throop Road;
THENCE North 890 56' West along said
North line 184.0 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING containing 0.538 acres of land,
is changed from its prior zoning classification of "'Ag'
Agriculture District" to a zoning classification of "'F'
Light Industrial District".
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordi-
nance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in
zoning classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended
by this Ordinance No. 161 -13 and prior ordinances, remains
in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage
and any publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
