AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, BY AMEND-
ING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF 56 ACRES
OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, FROM AG DISTRICT
TO A-3 DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given
to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing
published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance
with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the "Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the 56.317 acres of land,
more or less, out of the N. E. Thompson Survey, Abstract No. 1563, more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being a tract or parcel of land out of the N. E. Thompson
Survey, Abstract No. 1563, situated in Tarrant County, Texas,
and described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin for the Southeast corner of the Dove
Church lot, in the West line of County Road No. 3061 which
runs North from Dove;
THENCE South along the West line of said road, along a fence,
715.9 feet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE North 890 - 34' West, along a fence 1441.22 feet to a
stone for corner;
THENCE North 30 - 00' East along a fence 318.8 feet to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE North 880 - 44' West along a fence 663.8 feet to an
iron pin for corner in the East line of County Road No. 3028;
THENCE North 00 - 39' East along the East line of said road
1107.2 feet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE South 890 - 45' East along a fence 1615.26 feet to an
iron pin for corner in the West line of a cemetary tract;
THENCE South 00 - 20' West along a fence 732.07 feet to an

iron pin for the Southwest corner of said Dove Church lot;
THENCE North 890 - 48' East along the South line of the
Dove Church lot, along a fence, 463.54 feet to the point
of Beginning and containing 56.317 acres of land
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG (Agriculture)
District to a zlong classification of A-3 (Residential) District.
SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No. 161
is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made
by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this
Ordinance No. 161-76 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect
in all other respects as origianlly passed. This ordinance shall take
effect upon its passage.
