AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE BY At1ENDING THE ZONINf1 CLASSI FI CATION OF
3.21 ACRES OF LAND IN THE FRANCIS THROOP SURVEY, ARSTRACT
NO. 1511, TARRANT COUNTY, OWNED BY HOWARD AND BETTY MARTIN

PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, AND
PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given
to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published,
and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance 161
of the City of South1ake,Texas,
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of South1ake,Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City
of South1ake,Texas, January 7,1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance"
is hereby amended insofar as the 3.21 acre tract of land. more or less, owned by
Howard and Betty Martin, out of the Francis Throop Survey, Abstract No. 1511.
Described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being a portion of a 24.11 acre tract as recorded on
page 516 of volume 3390 in the Tarrant County Deed
Records and being more particularly described as
beginning at an iron rod in the west line of a county
road and also being the southeast corner of said 24.11
acre tract; thence west along the south line of said
24.11 acre a distance of 733.38 feet to an iron rod;
thence north 49 feet west a distance of 190.85 feet
to an iron rod; thence east a distance of 733.38 feet to
an iron rod in the west line of said county road;
thence south 49feet east along the west line of said
county road a distance of 190.85 feet to the place of
beginning and containing 3.ð1 acres of land more or less.
is changed from its prior zoning classification of "AG Agricultural District"
to a zoning classification of "A-lOne Family District".
SECTION 2. The Official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby
amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3.
The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance
No. 161-80 remains in effect in all other respects as originally oassed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication
or posting, if any, as required by law.
