AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF
THE CITY OF SOUTHlAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF ONE ACRE OF lAND OUT OF THE
FRANCIS THROOP SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1511
TRACT NO. 3AIE6. TARRANT COUNTY,TEXAS, OWNER
BE ING BOB HOLDER, FRm~ "AG AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT" TO "A-3 ONE FAMILY DISTRICT" PROVIDING
FOR CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND
PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice
given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public
hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance
with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake,Texas,
NOVJ THE RE FORE:
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake,Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake,Texas, January 7,1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance"
is hereby amended insofar as the one acre tract of land, more
or less, owned by Bob Holder, out of the Francis Throop Survey, Abstract 1511,
and described by metes and bounds as follows:
Being a tract of land recorded in Volume 5223, page 800, deed
records of Tarrant County, Texas. Beginning at the
most north corner of said tract and the intersection of
the southeasterly R.O.W. line of Sunshine lane and the
Southwesterly R.O.W. line of County Road No. 3080:
Thence south 33 degrees 16 minutes east along said R.O.W.
line of County road No. 3080, 209.6 feet to an iron Din
for corner: thence south 47 degrees 26 minutes west' 184.4 feet
to an iron pin for corner: thence north 31 degrees 08
minutes west 253.3 feet to an iron Din for corner in the
southeasterly R.O.W. line of Sunshine lane: thence north
62 degrees 12 minutes east along said R.O.W. line 175.0
feet to the place of Beginning and containing 1.0
acres of land,
is changed from its prior zoning classification of "AG agricultural district"
to a zoning classification of "A-3 one family district".
SECTION 2.
The Official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is
hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No.161, except as amended by this Ordinance
No. 161-81, remains in effect in all other respects as originally oassed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any
publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
