AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF 1.04
ACRES OF ALND OUT OF THE SAMUEL FREEMAN ABSTRACT NO. 525,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, OWNED BY TOM~1Y MASSEY FROM" AG
AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT" TO "A-3 ONE FAMILY DISTRICT"
PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, AND
PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice
given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public
hearing published, and, and public hearing having been conducted, all in
compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake,Texas,
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake,Texas:
SECTION 1.
The certain Ordinance No.161 passed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake,Texas, January 7,1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the 1.04 acre tract of land out of
the Samuel Freeman Survey, Abstract No. 525 , Tarrant County, and owned by
Tommy Massey and described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin in a fence line, said point
being 537.0 feet, east and north 88 degrees, 27 minutes east,
357.4 feet from the northwest corner of said 19.46 acre tract;
thence north 88 degrees, 27 minutes east, along a fence,
177.8 feet to an iron pin for corner; thence, south 03 degrees,
12 minutes east, along a fence, at 231.7 feet an iron pin in the
north line of Greenbough Drive, in all, 254.7 feet to a point
in the certerline of said street; thence south 88 degrees,
48 minutes west, alonq the centerline of said street, 178.7 feet
to a point for corner; thence north 03 degrees, 00 minutes west,
at 24.1 feet an iron pin in the north line of said street and
continuing along a fence, in all 253.6 feet to the point of be-
ginning and containing 1.04 acres of land of which 0.10 acre is
in use as a public road, leaving 0.94 acre net.
is changed from its prior zoning classification of "AG Agricultural District"
to a zoning classification of!\A-3 One Family District".
SECTION 2The Official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby
amended to refiect the change in zoning classification made ~v this Ordinance.
SECTION 3.
The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance
No. 161-82 remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any Dublication
or posting, if any, as required by law.
