0161-084ORDINANCE NO. 161-84 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASS- IFICATION OF NINE ACRES OF LAND IN THE J.W. HALE SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 803,OWNER, JOE EDGAR DOUGLAS JR. FROM "AG AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT" TO "F LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT" PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT. WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake,Texas, NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake,Texas: SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City of Southlake,Texas, January 7,1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the nine acre tract of land, more or less, owned by Joe Edgar Douglas,Jr. located in the J.14. Hale Survey, Abstract No. 803, and described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin in the north line of County Road # 3099,said iron pin is west 797.3 feet and north 20.0 feet from the southeast corner of said survey: thence west, along the north line of said road239.5 feet to an iron pin for corner in the east line of a 40.0 foot road; thence north, along the east line of said road 1648.15 feet to an iron pin for corner in the southline of gravel road; thence east, along the south line of said road 235.9 feet to an iron pin for corner; thence south, along a fence 1650.5 feet to the point of beginning and containing 9.00 acres of land, of which 2,747 square feet, or 0.063 acres, falls outside of fence and is in the road area on the west and north sides of this tract. is changed from its prior zoning classification of "AG Agricultural District" to a zoning classification of "F Light Industrial District". SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The.said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance No. 161-84, remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed. This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
