AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKF. BY AMENDING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF .....FIVE POINT NINE ACRES (5.9)
TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE THOMAS EASTER SURVEY, ABST.
480, AS OWNED BY M.L. DAVIS, CHANGING THE ZONING
FROM AGRICULTURAL TO THE A-3 SINGLE FAMILY ZONING
DISTRICT. PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP
AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to
applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public
hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted,
all in compliance with Ordinance No. 261 of the City of South-
lake, Texas,
NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City
Council the City of Southlake, Texas, March 3,1981, and being
the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar
as the Five point nine acres (5.9) of land out of the Thomas
Easter Survey, Abstract 480.
and described by metes and bounds as per Zoning Action Number 81.16
is changed from its prior zoning classification of Agricultural- -
to a zoning classification of A-3 Single Family Dis ric
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261
is hereby-amended to reflect the change in zoning classification
made by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 261, except as amended by this
Orinance No. 261-6 remains in effect in all other
respects as originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any
publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
