261-025 ORDINANCE NO. 261-25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKI; BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF EIGHT POINT SIXTY FIVE ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE JOHN A. FREEMAN SURVEY, ABSTRACT 529, TRACTS 6E AND 6F, OWNER: BOB TAYLOR FROM AGRICULTURAL TO LIGHT COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT. PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND, AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT. WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 261 of the City of Southlake, Texas, NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of South- lake, Texas: SECTION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City Council o t e City of Southlake, Texas, March 3, 1981, and being the "Compre- hensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the eight point sixty five acres of land out of the John A. Freeman Survey, Abstract 529, Tracts 6E and 6F. and described by metes and bounds as per Zoning Action Number 82-3 is changed from its prior zoning classification of AGRICULTURAL to a zoning classification of LIGHT COMMERCIAL SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261 is ereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this ordinance. SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 261, except as amended by this Ordinance No. 261-25 remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.-- This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
