AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
TWENTY SEVEN POINT ZERO FORTY EIGHT ACRE TRACT OF
LAND OUT OF THE THOMAS MAHAN SURVEY, ABSTRACT 1049.
OWNER: DAN HOWELL. FROM AG AGRICULTURAL TO A3 SINGLE
FAMILY ZONING DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP
AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF A.MI-,NDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to applicable
property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published,
and public hearing having been conducted, all in compl.Jance with
Ordinance No. 261 of the City of Southlake.. Texas,
NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordain(-d by the City Council of the City of 'South-
lake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City Council
of the City of Southlake, Texas, :March 3, 1981, and being the "Compre-
hensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the 27.048
acre tract of land out of the Thomas Mahan Survey, Abstract 1049
and described by metes and bounds as per Zoning Action Number ZA84-34
is changed from its prior zoning classification of Agricultural to a zoning classification of A3 Single Family
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261
is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made
by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 261, except as amended by this
Ordinance No. _261-_Z9 remains in effect in all other respects as
originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication
or posting, if any, as required by law.
