AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF
TWENTY SIX POINT NINE SIX FIGHT ZERO ACRE OF LAND OUT
OF THE A.H. CHIVER'S SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 299. OWNER:
HIGHLAND GROUP JOINT VENTURE. FROM AGRICULTURAL TO
LIGHT COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE
TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF' AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to applicable
property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published,
and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with
Ordinance No. 261 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of South-
lake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City Council
of the C'ity of Southlake, Texas, March 3, 1981, and being the "Compre-
hen.sive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the 26.9680 acre
tract of land out of the C.H. Chiver's Survey, Abstract No. 299.
and described by metes and bounds as per Zoning Action Number R5-76
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AGRICULTURAL
to a zoning classification of LIGHT COMMERCIAL
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261
is ere y amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made
by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 2611 except as amended by this
Ordinance No. , remains in effect in all other respects as
originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication
or posting, if any, as required by law.
