ORDINANCE NO. 161-57
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY
AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
40 OF THIRTY-THREE AND ONE-HALF ACRES
OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE
H. DECKER SURVEY, ABSTRACT N0. 438,
FROM AG (AGRI CULTURES DISTRICT TO F
(LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,
notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having
been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161, of
the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of South-
V lake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas April 2, 1974, and
being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended
insofar as the thirty-three and one half acres of land, more
or less, being 33.63 acres of land out of the H. Decker Survey,
Abstract No. 438, Tarrant County, Texas more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:

BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the H. Decker
Survey A-438, Tarrant County, Texas; thence South
8.5 varas; thence N. 890 45' W. - 367 varas; thence
South 215.36 varas to the true point of beginning:
thence South 673.14 varas to the Northwest right-
of-way line of the Sain Louis and Southwestern
Railroad; thence along said right-of-way line N.
540 35' E. - 423.62 varas; thence North 00 23' W -
185.22 varas; thence North 241.30 varas; thence
North 890 45' W. - 345.4 varas to the true point
of beginning,
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG
(Agriculture) District to a zoning classification of F
(Light Industrial) District.
SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordin-
ance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in
zoning classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended
by this Ordinance No. 161-57 and prior ordinance amendments,
remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.
