0161-046ORDINANCE NO. 161-46 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZON- ING CLASSIFICATION OF TWENTY ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE JOHN A. FREEMAN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 529, AND THE J. W. HALE SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 803, FROM AG (AGRICUL- TURE) DISTRICT TO F (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161, of the City of Southlake, Texas, NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas: SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the twenty acres of land, more or less, owned by Theron A. Ragan and wife, Dorothy, being 11.14 acres of land out of the John A. Freeman Survey, Abstract No. 529, and 8.91 ages of land out of the J. W. Hale Survey, Abstract No. 803, Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the J. W. Hale Survey; THENCE North 147 varas a fence, in all 149 varas to corner; THENCE West 428 varas a stake, (3/4 inch pipe); THENCE South 291 varas, a stake, (3/4 inch pipe); THENCE West 40 varas a stake (fence corner); THENCE South 224 varas a stake, fence corner; THENCE North 88-3/4 varas East 154 varas , stake fence corner; THENCE North 3/4 West 358 varas to a stake in fence corner; THENCE North 88-3/4 East 319 varas to the place of be- ginning, being off the East side of the tract of land 1 '40011, r- ~ which was conveyed to E. A. Carney by Taylor Blevins and wife, and being the same property fully described in Deed dated 11/18/60, recorded in Volume 3506, Page 112, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG (Agriculture) District to a zoning classification of F (Light Industrial) District. SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ord fiance No. 161-46 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
