0161-044ORDINANCE NO. 161-44 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF FOURTEEN ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE W. G. HALL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 687, FROM AG (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO A-3 (RESIDEN- TIAL) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of pubic hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas, NOW, THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas: SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the fourteen acres of land, more or less, owned by the Townhouse Development Company, out of the W. W. Hall Survey, Abstract No. 687, Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a 6" x 6" concrete monument in the present south right-of-way line of County Road No. 3034, said monument being the northeast corner of that certain 3 acre tract described in Volume 4585, page 361, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S 10 19'E, 1300.3 feet, to an iron pin, the southeast corner of the tract described in Volume 5058, page 633, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S 890 52'W, along the south line of said tract, 674.6 feet, to an iron pin for corner; THENCE NORTH, 633.4 feet, to an iron pin, the southwest corner of a 5 acre tract described in Volume 4325, page 257, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE S 880 02"E, along the south line of said 5 acre tract, 315.3 feet, to an iron pin for corner; THENCE NORTH, along the east line of said 5 acre tract, 691.4 feet, to an iron pin in the present right-of-way line of County Road No. 3034; THENCE S 870 50'E, along said south right-of-way line, 330.2 feet, to the Point of Beginning, and containing 14.87 acres of land is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG (Agriculture) District to a zoning classification of A-3 (Residential) District. SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance No. 161-44 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
