ORDINANCE NO. 161-37
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFI-
CATION OF TWENTY ACRES OF LAND,
MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE R. D.
PRICE SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1207,
FROM AG DISTRICT TO A- 1
(RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of
zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public
hearing, notice of public hearing published, and public
hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with
Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and
insofar as the twenty acres of land, more or less, owned by
Clifford C. Brown, out of the Reis D. Price Survey, Abstract
No. 1207, Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a stone, said stone being 250
varas South of the Southeast corner of the
David Douthit Survey, Abstract #448, said
stone also being the Northeast corner of a
50 acre tract recorded in Volume 325, Page
543, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE N. 040- 26' W. with a fence 104.5 feet
to a pipe for corner;
THENCE N. 810 - 15' E. with a fence 369.2 feet to
an iron pin for corner;
THENCE N. 520 - 27' E. with a fence 75.0 feet
to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE S. 380 - 19' E. with a fence 175.0
feet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE S. 500 - 24' E. 327.1 feet to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE S. 79° - 07' E. 11.0 feet to a R.R.
Spike for corner in the Westerly R.O.W. line of
Southlake Park Road;
THENCE S. 120 - 49' W. 116.7 feet along the
Westerly R.O.W. line of said road to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE S. 00° - 29' E. with a fence 232.2 feet
to a pipe for corner in the Westerly line of
said road;
THENCE S. 870 - 06' W. 1513.6 feet to a pipe
for corner;
THENCE NO. 000 - 24' E. with a fence 566.8
feet to a stone for corner;
THENCE S. 88° - 41' E. with a fence 162.7 feet
to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE NO. 890 - 52' E. with a fence 581.4 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 19.78
acres of land.
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG
District to a zoning classification of A-1 (Residential)
District.
SECTION 2. The official zoning Map created by said
Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change
in zoning classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended
by this Ordinance No. 161-37 and prior ordinance amendments,
remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
