WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of April, 1971,
an election was duly held in the City
of Southlake, Texas, for the election
of Mayor and two City Councilmen; And
WHEREAS, the results of said election
were duly canvassed by the City Council
of Southlake on the ~th day of April,
1971; And
WHEREAS, the canvass showed the follow-
ing results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, that:
The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all things
approved.
Wade Booker be, and is hereby, declared to have been
elected to the office of Mayor; and W. 0. (Bill) Nunn
and R. D. (Dick) Drummond be, and are hereby, declared
to have been elected to the offices of City Councilmen,
Places One and Two, respectively, to serve until April,
I 973.
